Quality and reliability of software systems are decisive factors for their successful operation. This goes especially for the important application systems in an insurance company, most importantly for the policy administration. Usually these systems model rather complex and company-specific circumstances. A fact that is true regardless of whether the system consists of standard software or was tailor-made.

Tests, which require a deep knowledge of actuarial and insurance matters as well as of the application system they are based on, are special challenges. The situation is made even more complicated because, due to distribution or legal requirements, the software releases cycles are becoming shorter and shorter.

Against this background we manage testing projects – from project planning to error management. Using special testing tools we test manually and automatically and evaluate the test results. As many of our employees were part of the development and implementation of important policy administration systems we know exactly which areas to test most intensively.
